Privacy policy

This page explains what the Mountain Myo website collects and what happens to it. It covers this website, not the records of your care as a client.

What you give us

We collect what you choose to enter in our forms:

  • Consultation request: your name, email, phone number if you give it, the times that work for you, and how you heard about us.
  • Fall '26 quiz: your email, first name if you give it, who the therapy is for, your concerns, and how soon you're looking to start.
  • Intake form: this is a separate form hosted on Google Forms, and what you enter there is stored in Google Forms.

How we use it

  • To respond to you and schedule your consultation.
  • If you joined our email list through the quiz, to send your offer and information that fits your answers. You can unsubscribe anytime.

We never sell your information.

How you found us

When you arrive, we save a small cookie on your device, called mm_src, for up to 90 days. It records the page you landed on, the website that sent you, the date, and any campaign tags or ad click ID in the link.

If you send a form, a summary of this goes to Annie with your request, so we know which advertising and referrals are working. We don't send it to any ad platform.

Website analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the site is used in general. It records pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, and when a form is viewed or sent, along with browser type and approximate location (such as city). When a consultation request is sent, it also records the option you chose for how you heard about us. It stores a random ID in your browser to recognize repeat visits.

We don't connect this to your name or contact details. PostHog doesn't receive your contact details or what you type into our forms, we don't record your screen, and our analytics don't keep your IP address.

Advertising

We advertise on Google. If you search on Google and click one of our ads, Google knows about that search and click, under Google's own privacy policy.

To measure our advertising, our public pages, including our condition pages, run Google Tag Manager and Google Ads tags. These can tell Google which pages you visited, whether you came from an ad click, and when you click a link to book. We've turned ad personalization signals off.

These tags don't load on the consultation form or the quiz, and we don't send your form answers to ad platforms. We don't currently use Google Analytics, and we don't use the Meta Pixel.

Companies that help us run the site

  • Vercel hosts the website and processes requests to it. Our site also uses your IP address briefly to slow down automated form abuse.
  • Resend delivers form requests to Annie by email, and holds our email list, including the quiz answers you gave us so we can send information that fits them.
  • PostHog provides the website analytics described above.
  • Google hosts the intake form, and provides the Google Tag Manager and Google Ads tags described above.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from email anytime using the link in any email we send.
  • Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, using the contact details below.
  • Block or clear cookies in your browser. Our forms still work without them.

Children

We work with children and adults. If a form is about a child, a parent or guardian should fill it in.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
