Tongue tie therapy in Colorado Springs
A tongue tie (ankyloglossia) is a tight band of tissue under the tongue that limits how it moves. That can affect swallowing, speech, breathing and where the tongue rests. Myofunctional therapy strengthens and retrains the tongue. It is most often recommended after a release (frenectomy), so the tongue learns to use its new range of motion.
